Bee Hive Hockey Photos
Credits

  • Cargill Inc. now owns the Bee Hive line of products...and the rights to the Bee Hive photos. Many thanks to Patti Miller at Cargill for granting permission to display these photos from my collection.
  • Many thanks to Peter Jagla at the HHOF in Toronto, Canada for granting permission to display the HHOF logo.
  • Ralph Slate of the Internet Hockey Database (a super site for hockey statistics) provided the NHL team logos and some web site tips.
  • The NHL did not reply to my many requests to get permission to show the NHL team logos, but the NHL deserves mention as they are at the heart of the game of hockey. These logos are being used under the blanket of "fair use". Besides, this site only enhances NHL hockey history. If the holder of the copyright of any of these logos objects to their use, please email me and upon proof of ownership, the logo will be removed.
  • Charlton Standard Catalogue - Hockey Cards

Charlton Standard Catalogue - Hockey Cards
  • Player lists and some of the Bee Hive background information came from the Charlton Standard Catalogue - Hockey Cards. This is an excellent reference book for pricing/listing of hockey cards and photos.
  • Total Hockey

    Total Hockey
  • Statistics were extracted from Total Hockey (the bible of hockey history books).
  • Players - The Ultimate A-Z Guide

Players - The Ultimate A-Z Guide

  • The Bradley Museum & Benares Historic House is located in Mississauga, Ontario. They provided portions of the Bee Hive promotion paraphernalia shown within the Photo History section.
  • Don Pillar
  • Don Pillar (an avid Bee Hive collector) provided large portions of the Bee Hive promotion paraphernalia shown within the Photo History section, as well as some background text.
  • Al Mann
  • Al Mann was very generous in allowing me to scan many of the Bee Hive player photos that I don't have yet. He has been collecting Bee Hives since the 1940's.
  • Angelo Savelli

  • Angelo Savelli is a sports card and Bee Hive collector and is known as the "King of Sport Cards". He provided much of the Bee Hive promotion paraphernalia shown in the Photo History section.
  • Aubrey Ferguson

  • Aubrey Ferguson supplied much of the Bee Hive background information for the Photo History section. He was especially helpful in providing the list of "fake" photos.
  • John Eadie

  • John Eadie is an advanced and knowledgeable Bee Hive collector from western Canada. He also supplied background information for the Photo History section.
